Mattarellos

Looking to roll your own pasta? We have mattarellos made just for that. The traditional mattarello has a single “handle” and it can be very simple, or excessively ornate. This so called handle isn’t used to hold or work the mattarello, but it is used to store it. Leaning it against a wall can cause it to warp in time, so hanging it is the best option. Rolling pasta to thin sheets calls for a very straight mattarello, so keeping it that way ensures a long life of pleasant use. Our mattarellos are 36″ long and available in a variety of wood species.
